Description
We (Margot & Antoine and Ayla) are creating an eco-preneurial project that aims to create a self sustainable living system where we form conditions under which humans, animals and nature can exist in productive harmony. Herewith, we would like to set an example of how sustainable practices from different aspects can easily be integrated in everyone’s lives. By doing so, we hope to inspire others.
The land, La Resse, is a consecutive domain of about 120 football fields large. It knows a rather big variety in nature and geographical characteristics, as there are different kinds of forest vegetations and pasture lands. Water streams spring from the ground that lead to a river (the “Arn”) that delimits the terrain for 1500 metres.
We have dogs, cats, chickens, geese, sheep, and pigs.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
It is the ideal place to learn more about nature, sustainable forest maintenance, permaculture and integrating sustainable principles, construction work and animal care.
We like to offer a platform where people from all backgrounds can share their ideas and knowledge, a place where we can learn from each other's visions and life experiences. We like to engage in philosophical conversations and cook delicious meals together. Together with volunteers we want to discover and explore the best ways to inspire others to integrate sustainable practices in one's lives and how we can best have a positive impact on our local environments and communities. Activities to do here are helping with work in the veggie garden, feeding the animals, find the best ways to build sustainable animal enclosures/an eco cabin/outdoor showers, collect firewood, share your recipes of your favourite dishes, look for ways to preserve food, help maintain the forest, go on walks that cross stunning landscapes etc. If you like to carve wood and/or build small wood furniture/artistic pieces, there is also plenty of possibility here to do so.Help
Learning how to integrate sustainable principles, learning to live from the forest, learning to live from agriculture, permaculture, living with animals, sustainable construction, help one of us improving French!

This host can provide space for campervans.
Can possibly accept pets
This depends if your pet is used to being with other animals around and lets them be. Our animals mainly roam free (sheep, chickens, geese, cats and dogs). It is important that our animals do NOT experience any stress from having a pet around that chases them for example.

I see that in the previous feedback Joris and Mischa wrote about building the green house dome, so here is an update - it's almost done, we've already filled spaces with the fertile soil ;)
I enjoyed a lot working, cooking, mushroom picking, chilling and having meals… read more

The time we spent there was very inspirational. Every part of the property is designed in a special and careful way. There are so many things to explore and experience all over the place like bees, chickens, pigs and sheep which run around.
My favorite part was the vegetable garden with its mindblowing variety… read more
