Description
Our guesthouse is based in Perissa beach, Santorini. Shares the same piece of land and ideology with our restaurant on the beach front, and the four acres garden at the back. The restaurant was born on 2011, focusing on vegetarian)vegan cuisine and mostly local and mediterranean receipes.
The guesthouse opened on 2016. The building itself is one of the oldest constractions in the village. It use to host a traditional old style hotel. Altough was abandoned for a few years, our team, with hard and inspirational work manage to give todays shape, functional but with respect to its character and story.
We offer an alternative way to see and stay on the island. In our eco-friendly community you have the chance to see, taste and listen to real Greece. We are a multicultural and multilingual team of people, who loves to host travellers and sharing skills and ideas.
Yoga sessions, bicycle rides, hiking tours, cooking, gardening are some of our main community activities.

We have a special relationship with world music. As a lot of us play instruments on a fun or professional base, we love to meet people with the same passion. We are really interesting to listen all kind of instruments and get know the culture and the story behind them.
We often have live performances and jam sessions by friends, guests or felow travellers.
Musicians from all over the world are welcome to come anytime of the year.
In case a workawayer falls in love with our place and the island (which happens often) , wants to extend
his /her stay, or just make some extra cash we give the opportunity to jump to a paid job.
In that case you can still have the same type of free accommodation (not even need to change bed )
and the free meal like used to have as helpers.
Payment is accorting to the skills, type of job and working hours,
and at any case is above the official greek minimum wage.

You can taste real greece and be part of the local lifestyle and traditions.
The hotel often hosts world musicians playing live at the bar, giving to people with music skills or interests to get close to each other. Street artists and handcrafters are also welcome to show their work or perform.
Nature lovers, hikers and bicycle enthusiasts, they will find here the ideal base.

The help we need has to do with the needs of the community, your skills and the time of the year. Gardening, farming, helping with maintenance and keeping common areas clean.

Workawayer / workers accomondation is on 3-4bed dorms with private bathrooms on the base or the first floor of the hostel.
All dorms have balcony, windows and access to the Workawayer's common kitchen.What else ...
We are right on the beach, so you can spend your whole day on the beach, the bar or the hotel, without wearing any shoes. Most of us work barefoot, anyway.
Ancient Thira is on the top of the mountain behind us and is a pleasant hike to the top and not the only one.
Crabbing one of our bicycles, you can easily get everywhere on the south side of the island.
Scuba diving center is next to us and the five kilometre perissa beach hosts a variety of diving and entertaining options.
You can always chill out on a hammock under the trees, sharing stories with the travellers or watch the moon rise, listen/ play the guitar next to the bonfire on the beach.A little more information
