Description
Welcome to our little world in Santorini!
Our guesthouse is in Perissa, Santorini, just behind the beach and next to our four-acre garden. It is part of the same family, our beachfront vegetarian & vegan restaurant, which started its journey in 2011.
The guesthouse followed a few years later, bringing new life to one of the oldest former hotels in the village. Today it is a colourful, relaxed place where travellers, workers, musicians and wandering souls from around the world meet and share a little island life together.
We are a multicultural and multilingual team and we like to keep things friendly, open-minded and human.
Life here is not only about work. There is the beach, our garden, yoga, music and jam sessions, hiking, cycling, good food, new friendships — and, of course, the important Santorini art of doing absolutely nothing in a hammock sometimes!
Musicians, artists, yoga people and creative minds usually feel very much at home here.
Our little philosophy:

Work & payment
All work positions at our place are fully paid.
Every hour worked and every task performed is paid at least the applicable legal minimum wage in Greece.
The schedule is maximum 8 hours per day, maximum 5 days per week and maximum 40 hours per week.
Our paid positions also include accommodation, meals, insurance and legal employment conditions.
We believe work should leave enough time to enjoy where you are. Swim, explore Santorini, meet people, discover the island, listen to some music — or find yourself a hammock.

Travellers have the chance to meet people from all over the world and live the island from within
You can taste real greece and be part of the local lifestyle and traditions.
The hotel often hosts world musicians playing live at the bar, giving to people with music skills or interests to get close to each other. Street artists and handcrafters are also welcome to show their work or perform.
Nature lovers, hikers and bicycle enthusiasts, they will find here the ideal base.
Yoga sessions by our resident teachers on sunrise and guest teachers or felow travelers on sunset. -

Help
The help we are looking for depends on the needs of the community, your skills, and the time of the year.
This may include gardening, small-scale farming, general maintenance, and helping to keep the common areas clean and welcoming.
We also welcome people who would like to offer yoga sessions, teach languages (preferably English or Spanish), or organize their own workshops and creative activities.
If you have a passion for plant-based cuisine or previous experience, you may also have the opportunity to support our vegan restaurant.
Any help related to the restaurant is considered a paid position. All tasks and all hours are fully paid, and include accommodation, meals, insurance, and full legal working conditions -

Workawayer / workers accomondation is on 3-4bed dorms with private bathrooms on the base or the first floor of the hostel.
All dorms have balcony, windows and access to the Workawayer's common kitchen. -
What else ...
We are right on the beach, so you can spend your whole day on the beach, the bar or the hotel, without wearing any shoes. Most of us work barefoot, anyway.
Ancient Thira is on the top of the mountain behind us and is a pleasant hike to the top and not the only one.
Crabbing one of our bicycles, you can easily get everywhere on the south side of the island.
Scuba diving center is next to us and the five kilometre perissa beach hosts a variety of diving and entertaining options.
You can always chill out on a hammock under the trees, sharing stories with the travellers or watch the moon rise, listen/ play the guitar next to the bonfire on the beach. -
