    Description

We are a medium-sized crop-only operation in western Saskatchewan. We grow a mix of cereal and oil seed crops for harvest, silage and dry feed. Equipment repair and maintenance for local farmers happens regularly in our shop. While there are no youth on our farm, we, and our community, have a long history of hosting international farm workers, many of whom now call the area home.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

There are usually a handful young international workers in the area to connect with during down time. A possibility to volunteer at the local school library exists during the school year. While no children live on the farm, neighbours with young family are a quick drive away. We commonly work with neighbours when harvesting. An ATV and side-by-side are used to check crops. The shop is well-equipped with smaller fabrication equipment, arc and TIG welders as well as some wood working equipment. We are University educated, but more importantly, have vast life experiences and know the local area, as well as the province, thoroughly.
