Hello workawayers!!!
We are so excited to try “workaway” for the first time, let me tell you about us.
We are a multicultural married couple living in Italy (Vicenza, north italy). My name is Tannia and my husband’s name is Mario, I’m mexican and he’s italian, that means in our house we speak italian, spanish and I’m fluent in english, we are both 37 y/o, we do not have children yet but we are planning to become parents any time soon, we have one dog called Reno he is the best. We’ve been married since 2023 and we’ve been working A LOT to pursue our dreams.

We are a multicultural married couple living in Italy, I’m mexican and he’s italian, that means in our house we speak italian, spanish and I’m fluent in english. We love languages and obviously as a multicultural couple, we have an open mind to different cultures and languages. We love to learn and exchange our knowledge or skills.
We are in the region of Veneto, that is on the north of Italy, specifically we live in Vicenza, that means Venice is 35min on train and we can take you to the bus or train station so you can discover italy, 8 years ago I was an au pair near this area, and it was so easy for me to move in italy and discover it! I’d even make friends that were also au pairs, and we still have a strong friendship! You will love it!

Help
On April we are moving to our new house, it is a beautiful Italian villa, with A LOT of green, we thought it would be great to have more hands to help us with the house (cleaning, gardening, pet and house sitting, help around the house, light painting/repairs, moving small furniture anything that can come to mind to help us have this house at its finest).
OBVIOUSLY we are going to be helping together by your side, this house is our life project, but 6 or 8 hands instead of 4 would make it easier!

Accommodation
As it is a big villa, we have 4 rooms to offer on the same floor with a shared bathroom, we will have 2/4 rooms ready, and the other 2 on hold as we need to buy beds (it is a new house so we have to buy furniture for the whole house once we are there). The bed that appears in the photo is how the ex owners had it but it will be very similar.
As I’m mexican and Mario is italian we ASURE you, you will eat amazing! We love to cook but mostly I’m in charge of preparing meals, if you like to cook as well we are great eaters 😂 and we will love to try any dish from your country. We will often have friends for dinner or grill something, they are all funny and nice people, we will have also visits from my mexican family or friends, you will get along with them all! ☺️

Reno
Reno is just amazing, he is the sweetest and we are his world, specially Mario, he is in love with him, we are his owners but Mario adopted him before I came to live here. Reno is a “Pastore del Legorai” it’s an italian (triveneto) breed, Reno loves cuddles, he is super obedient and cute ☺️
