We are an Irish couple who arrived in New Zealand with a back pack and tourist visa. Now 15 years later we have our dream home close to the beach with three gorgeous kids . We are both well traveled back-packers when we were in our twenties. We are quite sociable and love to live kiwi style beach and BBQ's etc.... Our interests are surfing, kayaking, cycling, travelling, photography, listening to music and spending plenty of time out doors.
We live on the Northshore of Auckland, a great location to be based to either hang out or go gallivanting to all the amazing places Auckland has to offer! All amenities are within 5 minutes walk from our house- beach, boardwalk, shops, cafes, restaurants, bus stop to Auckland. Activities-coastal walking trails, reserves ,water activities-kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding etc

Help
We are looking for help to tidy up around the house and garden before Christmas. We need a couple or two friends potentially a third person. Two to share a double room. The ideal age group is mid-twenties and above, with some skills.
The tasks will involve housekeeping, gardening, creating vegetable patches, painting fences, and general maintenance DIY. One person should be comfortable using garden tools such as a lawnmower. It’s important that you can work independently. You’ll also be expected to help with cooking, cleaning up after meals, and possibly babysitting for one night.
The help will be 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, mostly in the mornings. There will be some split shift for cooking on certain days. You’ll have plenty of free time to go to the beach, take walks, and relax.

Heaps to do in your spare time,beach activities,water sports,nature trails,markets, grab a bus into Auckland (50 min off-peak), shopping malls and cinemas (15 mins). We stayed in beautiful cottage house in the back of the garden and participated in some renovation work including painting and carpentry.
