We are an Australian-English family who love the great outdoors and the Aussie bush. Our caravan park has a pool and there are plenty of opportunities to get out and about in Halls Gap and the Grampians region, including hiking, climbing, boating, fishing, and a create gourmet and winery scene too. Our back garden (the caravan park) is full of local wildlife, espeically kangaroos and emus, to complete the Aussie experience.

Help
We are looking for an au pair single person or can be a couple who are able to help with looking after our two little boys while we are busy running a caravan park in Halls Gap, Victoria. We need two full days of care on the weekend plus bits and pieces during the week. There is plenty of extra work available in the town, as well.

We have a large spare bedroom in our house in the caravan park with a queen bed and TV, the rest of the house is shared with our family of 4. We are big cooks and happy to include you in family meals if and when you would like, but alaso happy for you to make your own arrangements - there is plenty of fridge space and a big barbeque.
What else ...
Halls Gap and the Grampians are unique in Australia for the bush experience they offer. The small town is home to a large number of amazing restaurants, cafes and pub, there are oppotunities to get out and active on your doorstep and the larger towns of Stawell, Ararat and Ballarat are close enough for regular visits. There are two lakes in the area the region is also known for its wineries and wildlife. We also have the largest collection of aboriginal rock art in Australia. There are buses available to Halls Gap but you will get the most out of your exploration if you have a car, there is ample parking at our place. There is also a labour shortage in the town so there won't be any problem picking up extra hours if you are looking for them, especially i hospitality, as we are currently Australia's second fastest growing tourist town.
We have had 3 au pairs before so we know what's involved. We are a social family and are happy to include you in our adventures as much as you would like. We look forward to hearing from you.A little more information
