    Description

Hello! We are Lele, Sam, Bea, and Laura — welcome to our little corner of the world, where our small community lives in harmony with nature.

🏡 The project was initiated by Lele, Sam, and Mattias (who has recently moved out) after the pandemic, and it has grown into a vibrant co-housing space. Bea and Laura joined us in 2023 as volunteers, and, last summer, they decided to become a permanent part of the project. Together, we aim to create a welcoming environment where nature and people thrive together.

🌱 Lele is a passionate gardener with a love for regenerative agriculture and yoga. Sam brings his musical talents and craftsmanship to the group, excelling in woodworking and outdoor work. Together, they are taking care of Maggie, their playful dog, who loves nothing more than running around and playing games and Katzi, who reigns with the quiet elegance only a cat can command.

🍎 Meanwhile, Bea and Laura are passionate about cooking and experimenting with fermented foods, especially kombucha and sourdough bread, and they focus on transforming the produce from our garden and orchard. Nuka, their lovable dog, shares their passion for food—her love of eating makes her the perfect companion for the house’s food enthusiasts!

🏞️ We are two separate small families, each with our own work, projects, and passions, but we love to co-create and share moments of work and enjoyment within this shared space. While we live in two cozy houses on the property, our paths intertwine through collaboration, creativity, and the simple joy of being together.
Every Wednesday, we open our doors to the community: it’s a time of connection, collective work, and co-creation, where everyone can contribute and experience our daily life. These shared moments remind us that, even as we walk individual paths, the magic of community lies in what we build together.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

🌍 With us, you will experience a real cultural exchange! We come from different countries, bringing together a rich tapestry of multicultural backgrounds. We have all experienced life in eco-projects in various parts of the world and now we are creating something together.

🔄 We focus on learning and experimenting with how to live according to a new regenerative paradigm while staying connected to our surroundings. With us, you will have the opportunity for interesting and entertaining conversations, learn how to build things, care for plants and natural ecosystems, and rethink and discuss what you may have taken for granted until now.

👥 You will surely get to know the social environment around here, whether it's chatting with local farmers, visiting cool bars, or connecting with new friends!

🟢 CURRENT AVAILABILITIES. We’re looking for couples or pairs of friends for the following dates and tasks:

    14TH–27TH AUGUST
    - 2 people for transforming our summer harvest into preserves and autumn/winter planting.

    1ST–10TH SEPTEMBER
    - 2 people to empty and dismantle large water tanks (⚠️ heavy lifting involved).

    1ST–30TH SEPTEMBER
    - 2 people for the tank dismantling (for the first ten days) and to take care of the house during our absence. After the 10th, we plan to go away (in two different periods, which may overlap), so we’re looking for a couple that would be responsible for the house, animals, and garden during that time.

    OCTOBER (2 WEEKS TO DEFINE)
    - 2 people for a small wall reconstruction project.

💪 TYPE OF HELP, apart from the big projects:
    - Daily routines: feeding hens and ducks, walking the dogs twice a day, watering, harvesting, weeding, preserving food, mowing the grass, general garden work, etc.
    - Wednesdays are our open farm days: we work and eat all together. In summer, we host a small market and occasional events.
    - We love when volunteers take on small creative or practical projects that add value to our shared space, like building simple furniture or decorations.

🌿 IMPORTANT!!! We generally welcome only couples or pairs of friends, as we have jobs and projects outside of our house — this means you’ll have moments of independence and time on your own.

    💫 OUR VALUES:
We want to live and share our space with people who are excited about cooperating, co-creating, and expressing their emotions freely. We deeply value when people bring their passions, skills, and knowledge to share.
Our project is still in its early stages — we have dreams and plans but are open to many kinds of contributions and ideas.

🤝 IN EXCHANGE for your help, we offer:
    - Accommodation
    - Food from our farm (vegetables, fruits, olive oil, etc.)

    📩 RESPONSES:
We usually reply after discussing requests in our weekly Wednesday meeting, but sometimes it may take a bit longer. If you need a faster response, please mention that clearly in the first lines of your message.

🏳️‍🌈 LGBTQ+ and BIPOC people are warmly welcome here!

🌳 Our land is located in a very strategic place, right outside a small town called Anghiari, a medieval village in Tuscany. The house is situated between the old town center and the woods. You can easily reach us by bus and a short walk down the hill.

🏠 We have a private guest room with a double bed and private bathroom. The kitchen is shared so you'll coordinate meal prep with us. Camping is also possible.

🌱 We mainly eat vegetarian. Most of the food we eat comes either from our land or from local farmers. We like sharing cooking and sometimes going out for pizza or an aperitivo!

  • What else ...

    What else ...

🌟 Anghiari is one of the 100 most beautiful villages in Italy! This delightful Tuscan village is perched on a hill overlooking the upper Tiber valley.

💦 The town often hosts cultural and social events that bring the whole community to life. In the surrounding area, there are several rivers where we love to cool off in the warmer months!

🚌 From Anghiari, buses connect you to the main city of Arezzo, where you can catch a train to many other Italian cities (Perugia, Florence, Siena, Rome, Bologna, etc.). The journey from Arezzo to Anghiari takes about 1 hour by bus or 30 minutes by car (note that there are not many buses on weekends).

🚴‍♀️ From our house, you can easily walk to town, where you’ll find shops and cafés, go hiking on marked paths, or cycle down to the Tiber River.
