  • Description

We promote a new model to refurbish socially-relevant spaces – social housing, cultural centres, and public spaces – through educational programs in Porto, Portugal.

Porto is the second-largest city in Portugal after Lisbon. Located along the Douro River estuary in northern Portugal, Porto is one of the oldest European centres, and its historical core was proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996.

Porto is home to the Porto School of Architecture, one of the most prestigious architecture schools in Europe and the world. It is also home to two earners of the Pritzker Architecture Prize (two former students of the aforementioned school): Álvaro Siza Vieira and Eduardo Souto de Moura.
