Description
Our farm is run by our family and has been for quite some years. We are just far enough outside of Swellendam to have some peace and quiet, but still close enough to walk to the shops.
On the farm we have a restaurant and reception area with it's own staff. We have cleaners and maintenance workers that do the heavy lifting. Workwayers might not be helping directly with all of them, but they are all interesting people to chat with outside of work.
On our farm we grow organic berries, have cottages and campsites. We also offer day activities for other guests. We have something for everyone from the young to young at heart.
We are looking for someone with good people skills that can help chat with guests, make sure everyone feels welcome, help with pictures and hosting activities and other such things. -

Help
We focus on making sure people feel welcomed and give personal attention to each of our guests.
We would love a Workawayer who enjoys interacting with people and helping create that atmosphere.
Depending on your personality and interests, you may help with:
-Welcoming guests and making them feel at home, enjoy their stay
-Chatting with guests and sharing information about the farm
-Assisting with group activities and farm experiences or helping lead or organise them
-Getting involved in events and special weekends
-Being a friendly face around the farm and helping create the warm, personal experience that we pride ourselves on
A little extra option
We are also looking for someone to help create content:
-Taking photos of activities, accommodation, etc and creating social media content
-Helping explain more about the farm online
You don't need to be an experienced tour guide or entertainer. We are looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and enjoys making other people feel welcome.
Social media is only part of the help. Keeping guests happy is the main goal. There is a reason we have loads of return guests and that is why giving each of our guests personal attention is so important. -
