Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are native English speakers, Irish and American with long term residency in France. We speak multiple languages and have lived in many parts of the world. We are happy to help you explore the South of France, improve your French or English. We enjoy cooking and food, cultivate a small garden, and are easy going and social people.
If you have a specific interest in learning more about the region, the apartment has a library of the region. From the house it is easy access to the world famous French Riviera. 18 minutes by car to the Med.Help
Ideally looking for people who can help with gardening, (We live next to a forest so gardening may include simple tasks like cutting bamboo, and picking up branches.) We have citrus and olive trees, multiple native species and fruit trees. Also lots of weeds, new things to plant, some holes to dig.
There is often small painting projects of iron railings or walls. We are happy to find projects that meet your skill set. I generally have a list and Work Awayers can choose the tasks they are happy to do or engage in something they would like to learn more about.Languages spoken

We have a 60 square meter apartment on the ground floor of our house that is completely independent with its own kitchen, 160 cm bed, WIFI. Fits 2 comfortably, or 3 on a pull out sofa. It is well decorated and comfortable. The house also has a large pool, ample parking, and it is possible to walk to a bus that goes to Cannes or Grasse, France. Our previous Work Awayers have all said it was by far their best accommodation.
What else ...
We are perfectly placed in the South of France near beautiful beaches and the town of Cannes. 100s of famous sites are in easy reach as well as cultural activities, and museums. The weather is ideal year round. We are looking for short term stays as opposed to longer ones and we ask that people respect the house by keeping it tidy.
