    Description

We welcome you to our home on the outskirts of town so on one side of us is a short stroll to town and the other way is lined with open fields and farms and real clean fresh air. On our door step is a greenway along the river for walking and cycling and leads to a facinating museum. Within walking distance is a cinema, theatre, library and countless coffee shops. Regular buses and a busy train station mean we are very central to exploring the surrounding towns and the entire region which boasts some of the most stunning scenery in all of Ireland.
We are a warm hearted kind and generous couple who treasure our two pet dogs and love being outdoors pottering in the garden any chance we get. We sometimes stay at our cottage in the countryside and try to keep on top of the garden and maintenance there That might be necessary when you are here so we prefer someone who is flexible and adaptable and able to go with the flow! Loving pets and gardening also helps! And help keeping the inside of the house tidy and clean would be a real bonus for us too! Thank you 😊

We would like to welcome people who have some experience of travelling or home stays before they apply to stay with us. Warm positive people suit us best with some degree of maturity and willing sometimes to do things on their own initiative. Someone who has a broader perspective and can roll with things when they are not so perfect or exactly matching assumptions and it's not such a big deal. In return for any help we would look after you very well and help you to have a great experience with us.
