Description
Hi! We are Aga, a trained psychosomatic coach, and Gaia, an event organiser with permaculture and regenerative design background. We both have years of experience in community projects in different parts of our beautiful planet and we are really excited at the prospect of landing this vision here, in such a peaceful and wild landscape.
We are holding point for the emergence of a Temple Village in Italy, rooted in Love, Freedom and Purpose.
This is not a regular project, farm, or retreat centre. It 's a living field experiment exploring how humans can live, create, and grow together from coherence rather than control.
At the centre is a shared space we call the Temple. A space of depth, presence, and alignment. Around it, life unfolds through land work, building, cooking, connection, and creativity.
We are in the early stages of becoming. This means that not everything is defined, not everything is comfortable, but everything is real.
We live in a very peaceful and quiet ancient village, 7min drive from the town of Varsi, where all amenities can be found (supermarket, pharmacy, cafès, restaurant, post office, shops).
We do not welcome heavy drinkers / smokers, nor aggressive people.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
You'll be joining an emergent field rooted in love, freedom and purpose. Here we are creating the foundations for a soul-based culture where humans can find their deeper calling and longing.
This involves a new kind of participation, stemming from eagerness to support and improve what's already here, to be open to the unknown, to listen without rushing to decisions.
We'll happily share our spiritual, shamanic and embodiment practices, should you be open to that. As well as our contained but rich library.
We'll offer trips and hikes in the wild nature and rural landscapes all around us as well as loads of quality, restorative and nourishing time.
Help
At this stage we are looking ideally for experienced volunteers to help us with creating simple structures (compost toilet, outside shower, outside kitchen) maintaining and creating new gardens and helping with small tasks like harvesting firewood. What matters for us is the willingness to get your hands in the dirt, move matter and have fun together.
We have an old two-storey stone-house to empty and clear, a wooden floor to build from scratch (probably later in the year), gardens to weed, fruit to harvest and a lot of wilderness to explore and enjoy.
Depending on timing and needs, you may contribute to:
Building structures like outdoor kitchen, compost toilets, etc.
Land regeneration / Vegetable gardens
Harvesting wood
Property maintenance
Cooking and shared meals
Supporting simple daily rhythms
There is a local builder doing the main building work. Workawayers would mainly help us moving things around and with smaller jobs, still supporting the main activities.
We usually work about 5 hours per day, 5 days a week.
The rest of the time is yours to enjoy as you wish.

Accommodation
We offer accommodation in tent, raised off the ground, fitted with inflatable mattress and bedding. We'll be sharing facilities in our house until outside kitchen and compost toilets will be ready.
Should rain come you'll be welcome to use a spare bedroom in our home.
Our kitchen and food will be available for you to cater for yourself whenever you need.
We eat twice a day, breakfast and late lunch / early dinner. We enjoy sharing meals and cooking, as well as being cooked for.
We have a healthy, dairy-free diet and generally avoid processed foods. We do not ask that of you but appreciate care in reducing waste and environmental impact.

Every Friday morning there's a local market in the main square and plenty of local events and feasts during the summer.
It is best for you to have your own vehicle/mobile-home, but we'll manage if you don't. We have a bike you can use to move independently. We just ask that you treat it kindly and keep it in good shape.

We love animals and welcome them as long as well behaved and not causing nuisance with the neighbours. Please tell us if you intend to come with your pet.
