    Description

I am creating my home in idyllic Eidsfoss, and will use it together with a non-profit organization dedicated to life growth, environmental research, and sustainable solutions. This is not a commercial venture, but a shared space for learning, creativity, and community benefit.

I value both inner and outer journeys, and I am shaping this place to explore and test techniques for sustainable living and positive change - together with others who share these values.

Eidsfoss is located just one hour southeast of Oslo. This historic place is surrounded by natural beauty, with two lakes: Eikeren, the local drinking water source, and Bergsvannet. Once an industrial hub, Eidsfoss is now a lively and creative community with artists, markets, festivals, and a rich social life.

In this small but vibrant setting, you can enjoy saunas, music, art, yoga, and endless opportunities to connect with nature through mountains and lakes. Eidsfoss is where history, culture, and nature meet - and my home, together with the non-profit organization, will be part of this living tradition, focusing on positive change for all.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

At our place in Eidsfoss, visitors can experience a rich cultural exchange through:
The vibrant local community that blends historical industrial heritage with contemporary creative pursuits. Eidsfoss has transformed from a former industrial capital into an artistic hub with markets, festivals, and an active social scene.
We have a good social life in this community with many daily meetings in the local shop where people always have time for a coffee and a talk. The local pool nights are fun, and the yoga hall is active every second day of the week.
Opportunities to engage with local artists and creators who have made this small Norwegian community their home. The area attracts creative individuals who contribute to its unique cultural landscape.
Hands-on participation in sustainable living practices as we develop this area. Visitors can join in community-oriented work that doubles as social bonding time—creating soil, building, cooking, and implementing eco-friendly solutions.
Connection with nature through the surrounding lakes (Eikeren and Bergsvannet) and mountains, experiencing the Norwegian approach to outdoor living and appreciation of natural environments.
A blend of wellness experiences including sauna, yoga, and opportunities for both inner and outer journeys, reflecting the holistic approach to well-being that characterizes the project.
The chance to be part of a developing vision that combines hospitality, environmental research, and sustainable living—contributing ideas and energy to a place focused on positive change.
I hope that when you stay here you will learn and grow in life and this will give you more happiness. I know for sure that in every human meeting i have grown,
So thanks for sharing your time with me :)

  • Help

    Help

What I need help with is various tasks, but currently the project is in its starting phase. I will find simple work that suits you and what you feel like doing :) Mainly we will work with our hands. We will make soil, dig, carry, cut, fix things, build, cook and transport materials. I have a philosophy that we try not to work alone, as work is also a social bonding time. This place is going to be built on good vibes, so we need to enjoy the work - otherwise we'll do something else that we like :)

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

I have set up a beautiful yurt, with a double bed and possibility for one extra single bed. In this yurt you have a fridge and cooking possibilities. It's very nice and harmonic :). For toilet we have one outdoor compost toilet and we have no shower at this time, but we can take the sauna and bath in the lake. Also I have a spring water pond in the forest, so it can be possible to make some easy washing possibilities there (if it has not dried up). You have to be prepared for more of a camping in nature accommodation. I am a pretty good cook and we try to eat a communal meal every day. We can find out what you like to do for breakfast, if we do that together or separately. I will have food you can use in the yurt, like some bread and spread, and porridge. I mainly eat no meat or processed food, but if we get some wild game we will have some good meat.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Sadly we don't have many buses in this Nature, but I and the local people can be helpful with transport. I hope to get some bikes before you arrive. We are nice people and this will work out :) This place is free from drugs and I hope you can respect it. If not, tell me and we will try to work something out.
