    Description

Welcome to our little slice of paradise in the beautiful Mondego Valley.

Our riverside farm is home to a vibrant mix of fruit and nut trees, a small vegetable garden, and plenty of peaceful corners to enjoy the rhythm of nature.

The land was once part of a small glamping tourism project, but today it has returned to being a quiet private retreat.
Instead of hosting crowds, we now open our gates to just a handful of volunteers who want to share in the experience of living close to the land.

As a yoga teacher of 19 years this is also something im happy to share, offering yoga classes on the weekend. During the weekdays I work full time remotley online.

If you enjoy fresh food from the garden, birdsong by the river, and meaningful days outdoors, you’ll feel right at home here.

This is a very private property, its calm and quiet, rooted to nature and beautiful rural Portugese countryside.

This region of Portugal is famous for its artisan cheeses, olive oil, cherries and wine.
The valley where the farm is situated is a micro climate, so the farm offers so many different fruit and nut trees that I have lost count, preparing the different harvests and moving with the seasons is both a relaxing and soulful experience we look forward to sharing with our guests.

In the area you will get a unique snap shot and sense of time having stood still for over a century, local woman still washing clothes in communal granite washing basins, farmers still working the land in just the same way.

Small festivals in the local villages celebrating the different harvests are also something to look forward to.

I also use the local produce and wild medicinal fauna to create skin care, this skill is something im always happy to teach and share.

I live there with my mum who also has a bungalow on the property.

Its a very unique place in the sense that it has both 120metres of Mondego river frontage as well as a pool with breathtaking views across the valley.
Its were rural living meets luxury.

It worth noting that we are not disconnected either, there is the city of Guarda a 15min drive away and local shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

    What else ...

The local city of Guarda is the highest city in Portugal, it offers historic gothic architecture as well as charming bars and restaurants.
The city will also meet any practical needs.

The local area is famous for its rigged landscapes and well preserved natural beauty.

A highlight of the area is a rich variety of river beaches, hiking, and biking.

Its an amazing place to spend a summer if you enjoy being outdoors and appreciate beautiful nature.
