    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are a multicultural community, currently living here people from Mexico, US, Canada and New Zealand. You would learn about mexican traditions and also learn how to make things better.
We follow permaculture principles in our community, so you will practices to repopulate native trees and land regeneration. All of our houses are designed and constructed with eco technologies, so if you are into sustainability building and practices you will learn the most efficient ways of living a modern and sustainable lifestyle.
Many people in the community are into conciousness practices: meditation, breathwork and ceremony. We have a traditional temazcal (mexican sweet lodge) and we hold events and retreats regularly.
We would love to teach our slow living ways and would love to have your energy in our space to continue nourishing this sacred land.

We are in the early stages of building our community and we only have the capacity to receive 1-2 volunteers at the time, so be aware that mosst of the days you will be working by yourself (after being instructed on what to do) and the community events are held once a week or so.

We have been working on this project for 18 months and already have a couple of households living here (more to come soon). We are looking for help with landscaping, planting, painting, general maintenance and also looking for people that make this place even more awesome! This is a magical land and we as stewards are looking for people to bring their magic to expand even more.

We are 20minutes away from the main town of San Miguel de Allende, on your days off you could go into town and explore this beautiful magical city. There are thermal waters also 15min away, and a historic site with a pyramid and a ceremonial center (Canada de la Virgen) that´s only 30min away.

During the working days you would certainly have time off during the middle of the day (hottest part of the day). We usually spend those times relaxing, working on the computer, gaming or whatever you prefer to do.
