    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We love connecting with people from different backgrounds and sharing stories about travel, culture, and creativity. ✨

Our home is in Nelson, BC, a small artistic town surrounded by mountains and lakes, a place full of local markets, community events, and friendly people. We often go to local cafés, dance events, or explore nearby trails, and Workawayers are always welcome to join!

You’ll have the chance to learn about Canadian small-town life, and we’ll happily share our experience in photography, video creation, and digital storytelling. In exchange, we love learning about other cultures, ideas, and creative perspectives. It always inspires our projects. 🌎📸

  • Help

    Help

We’re looking for someone creative who enjoys social media and digital content! 🌿
The main help we’d love is engaging for about an hour a day on our social media personal project (replying to comments, liking and interacting with followers, etc.)

We also appreciate help with finding current trends, audios, and hook ideas but no scheduling or posting is needed.

If you’re looking to improve your Spanish skills, we’d love to help! We’re native Spanish speakers and enjoy casual language exchange, practicing both English and Spanish through everyday conversations, cooking together, or exploring the town. It’s a relaxed and fun way to learn from each other! 🌿✨

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

You’ll have a private space in our basement, which includes a comfortable double couch bed, blankets, and an extra sofa. The space is next to our seasonal storage and laundry area, so it’s semi-private (no doors) and does not include a washroom, but you’re welcome to use the main bathroom upstairs.

During the day, you’re free to relax in the living room or kitchen, enjoy a cup of coffee, or even play a bit on the piano or ukulele. 🎶
It’s a cozy, simple setup, perfect for someone easygoing who enjoys a calm, friendly home environment

  • What else ...

    What else ...

We have a small, friendly dog, so animal lovers are more than welcome 🐶💛

We sometimes work regular office hours, so we really appreciate independent and self-motivated people who are happy to explore Nelson on their own. The town is full of cafés, markets, trails, and lake views, perfect for relaxing or adventuring in your free time.

If time allows, we’d also love a bit of help with dog walking. Mocca (our pup!) loves meeting new people and going for walks. 🐾

Our home is calm, tidy, and welcoming. We value kindness, communication, and mutual respect, a relaxed environment where everyone feels at home.

    Mocca Pocca (6 years)

Mocca is a sweet little dog with a big personality! 🐾 She can be a bit protective at first and might bark when meeting new people, but once she gets to know you, she’s affectionate, playful, and loves cuddles. She enjoys short walks, naps in the sun, and being part of whatever’s going on around the house. ☀️💛
