Details
 - Description- Hello I'm Patrick. I bought a piece of land in South West Portugal and am building up slowly but surely a little nature paradise (called 'Ola Nalu') from scratch, that involves a lot of div and ecological building.
I also like to grow my own food organically and having a resource saving water management and very low impact life stile in general.
Living inbeded in nature, together with the environment and picking it's fruits, that's my dream :)
In a project like that there is always something to do, especially in the build up stage and yes I defenetly need some help :)
 - Types of help and learning opportunities- Help with Eco Projects - Gardening - DIY and building projects - Animal Care - Creating/ Cooking family meals - Help around the house - General Maintenance
 - UN sustainability goals this host is trying to achieve
 - Cultural exchange and learning opportunities- You can surely learn a lot about alternative life styles, on my land but also at friends places and well we are all also connected with the local portuguese culture of this rural area and there is a good connection between locals and let's say foreigners that try to live their 'living in the nature' dreams here :)
 - Help- At the moment my priority is to finish my tiny cob (mix of clay soil and straw) house.
It would also be nice to have some help with cooking. I plan to provide one nice basic vegan or vegetarian meal per day and we could take turns with cooking or someone would like to care for the cooking entirely.
 - Languages- Languages spoken
 German: Fluent
 English: Fluent

 - Accommodation- There is a big tent (see pictures) with a kitchen, a "bedroom" and a chillarea.
Compost toilet and solar shower are nearby.
You can also stay in a campervan if you want, there is a nice camper spot also with a compost toilet. In this case of course you will have less work hours.
 - What else ...- Car/Van required
 - A little more information - Internet access
 - Limited internet access
 - We have pets
 - We are smokers
 - Can host families

 - Space for parking camper vans- There is a dedicated campervan spot on the land with enough space and compost toilet. There were already big motorhomes visiting me but I would recommend only normal sized campervans, to be on the safe site. If you come in a campervan, you have to work less of course ;)
 - How many Workawayers can stay?- Two
 - My animals / pets
