    Description

Our house is now full until the end of the year.

Welcome at our little house in the woods.
We are Christian (Swedish), Johanna (German), every second week Jai (6 years old) , 3 cats, 2 horses and 1 pony living in the forest.
There is always a lot to do outside and/or inside.
As we both work at a canoe centre as well, we are looking for helpers who can work independent and enjoy the quietness of nature around.

When we are not working we enjoy bonfires, hikes in the forest, picking berries and mushrooms, cooking and taking care of our horses.
The horses love attention and go for grasing walks and we were told that our pony is the most curious pony in the world.
Our cats love cuddles, take over the couch and come along for walks. So you should like cats.

We buy and cook plant based food and you are welcome to join our dinners or prepare you own food. As we like to make sure to ear healthy we take out time to cook meals and bake bread. If this is something you enjoy you are also welcome in the kitchen.
Accomodation can be a room in the house. Or if you enjoy it outside, we can provide a tent as well.

Dogs: Please note that if you are travelling with a dog, we can only have you volunteer if you come in your own accomodation (campervan) and your dog has experience around horses. As we do not have a dog fence around all dogs must be kept on a leash outside the house, as there is wildlife (deer, moose etc) around.

As there is always a lot to do, we can find something for everyone to enjoy. If you love physical work outside, there is always wood that needs splitting or stuff that needs to be built, fixed, or painted.
If you love animals, the horses and cats crave attention and cuddles.
If you enjoy cooking, we are happy to let you take over the kitchen, just keep in mind that we only eat plant based.
If you love children, you can plan your stay to be here in the same week as our 6 year old who loves to play and go for forest adventure.
