    Hai workawayers, I am Aneesh from a small Village in the Idukki District of Kerala in India. I am a Teacher by profession and running a small homestay attached to my home and often do little agricultural work in my farm.

    I am living with my wife and 3 kids of the age 14, 11 & 5. I am looking for workawayers willing to offer some kind of help in my farm, Painting my house and also for designing a small Organic Vegetable plantation around my home.

    I do have a total of 6 acres of land spread around my village in 4 Plots cultivating PEPPER, CLOVE, COFFEE, RUBBER & COCOA.

    NB: Workawayers applying for voluntary work on my farm or in my home should commit to a minimum of 10 working days.

    IDUKKI district in Kerala is known for its Beautiful Natural landscape & distinct culture. My village is located right inside a spice plantation and it is an ideal place for those who wish to experience Pure Village Life. Some of the other benefits are listed below.

    Based on Agricultural & tourist Seasons, types of help may be different. Usual help I am expecting from the workawayers are as under.

    1. Harvesting, Processing & Drying Black Pepper, Coffee & Clove (January to March).
    2. To shape soil, remove weeds, clear soil & digging narrow drills or shallow trenches for planting seeds or seedlings using a Hoe (April to August)
    3. Weeding in agricultural Land using a sickle or using brush cutter (September to December)
    4. Painting my home (Workawayers should have a minimum knowledge about painting a home and should be ready to use ladder to paint top part of the house)
    5. Cooking food for yourself and my family occasionally (materials will be provided)
    6. Workawayer should be ready to work for 5 hours from Monday to Friday preferably before noon. Workawayers applying for voluntary work on my farm or in my home should commit to a minimum of 10 working days.
    7. All afternoons, Saturdays & Sundays will be free from work for workawayers

    1. Workawayers will be accommodated in my PRIVATE Guest Room with attached Toilet and Bathing facilities.
    2. Free High Speed Wi-Fi available throughout your stay.
    3. Three times simple Veg meals can be provided (Occasionally we serve Non-Veg too)
    4. Occasionally workawayers are supposed to prepare food for themselves with materials provided.
    5. We are facing water shortage from January till May and careful usage of water is highly appreciated.

    1. Respecting Village culture & local people are very important.
    2. Indian Citizens should provide a PHOTO ID PROOF upon arrival
    3. Foreign Citizens are bound to fill FORM-C for legal documentation upon arrival.
    4. My Village is mainly connected with very few buses and more number of Jeeps & Auto Rickshaws.
    5. Nearest Bus station is 7 km away from my home
