I am a lecturer in History with a passion for permaculture. With that in mind I have recently moved to Southern Catalonia and purchased a neglected olive grove of 12 acres which my seven-year son and I are slowy starting to regenerate using the principles laid down by Bill Mollison and David Holmgren. We would welcome anyone who has a genuine interest in learning more or sharing what they already know in the areas of Permaculture, Natural Building and Eco-living. I have very, very little knowledge of Catalan or Spanish so would also welcome speakers of those languages particularly.
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Volunteers would be pruning olive trees, digging trenches/swales, planting trees, vegetables, shrubs etc. Building with cob, earthbag and strawbale, some basic carpentry and other diy projects.
