    Description

We are a kind couple, Leena (59 years) and Simo (64 years), living in the small town of Kuusankoski (around 140km from Helsinki) in the south-east of Finland.
Our two children are adults and live in their own homes.

Simo is retired. He likes to relax, watch sports and reality programs from TV and have some coffee.
His hobbies are woodworking, sports like running, hiking and biking,xc skiing and giving massages.
His native language is Finnish and he also speaks a little bit English. He is willing to improve his English skills, which you can help him with.

Leena works in a hospital as a children’s nurse. She works in three shifts, so her working times and her free time vary depending on her weekly schedule.
Her hobbies are all kinds of handycrafts, like crocheting and sewing. She also sings in a choir and likes to do sports like hiking. Leena likes to share her hobbies and would be happy to have you take part in them.
Her native language is Finnish and she also speaks English pretty well.

We live in a rather quiet, peaceful neighborhood in Kuusankoski (20 000 people), which is a part of Kouvola city (80 000 people).

We can host and you can stay from one to three weeks.
