    Description

Hey there! We’re a group of friends and business partners who recently bought a boutique hotel and restaurant in Hakuba, Goryu. Our backgrounds are a mix of hospitality, marketing, and creative projects, and we came together because we share a love of travel, good food, and mountain life.

Our hotel is a 14-room lodge with a restaurant and bar, and we’re in the middle of transforming it into a welcoming space for travellers from around the world. Our days are spent balancing renovation projects and building the brand, so we’re always excited to have extra hands and fresh energy around!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We’re happy to share what we’ve learned about starting a business in Japan, running a hotel and restaurant, and of course, tips on the best ski runs, onsens, and hidden spots in the valley. In return, we’re always excited to learn about different cultures, languages, food, and ideas from our Workawayers.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We have about half of the 14 rooms finished so far and this is where you'll be staying. These rooms are cosy, heated and each have their own bathroom. We cook most days but also love to go out and explore new restaurants and bars in Hakuba.

The weather is starting to turn which is exciting as it means the snow is coming! But when sunny and warm, we love to swim in the nearby lake Aoki, we also exercise and run.
