We're a mountain side boutique hotel with onsen and a focus on art, design and plant based cuisine. We are a young Japanese and Australian couple, with two babies and a dog. We're currently looking for winter staff at our lodge and also staff to help do renovation work at a cabin near-by. If you like snow, food, design we'll get along fine.

Help around the house
We provide accommodation in exchange for the volunteers and possibility of some paid work if you want it (working visa is needed for paid work) It's a good opportunity to learn about traditional architecture and design. There's lots of hiking, natural onsens and waterfalls that you can hike to, a lake for fishing swimming etc and other things near by and in winter it's all about snow.
This host offers accommodation and payment.
Host has indicated that they will pay at least the minimum hourly wage of their country for each hour worked and that accommodation will also be provided. They are asking for help with a business or business activity. Contact the host directly via the site messenger for more information and details about the wage provided. Any arrangements should be agreed in advance with your host.
In winter we are a ski-in ski-out lodge, so there's plenty of snow but it's also cozy inside. We have various day to day jobs such a helping with breakfast, looking after guests etc. Norally we'll work a few hours in the morning and then afternoons are off. We also have various projects including renovating a traditional Japanese house. Experience in hospitality and/or design/renovating is prefered but not essential. It's important that you respect our house, keep it tidy and contribute the household etc.
