    Description

    Hello!
We are a cultural association promoting a social farming project. We are young and open minded farmers and we started our project collecting neglected lands in the country side of our small medieval old town just 30 minutes far from Rome downtown. Now we have a main field in which we cultivate a vegetable garden with different organic techniques, we have 70 olive trees and an hen house with chickens and gooses, two cats and a dog, soon we will have a couple of goats to test the cheese producion, we have there a small direct sales point. We product sweet jams and salty creams from the vegetables and fruits we pick up in our field and in other lands in the sorroundings. On Sundays we participate to the town Farmer Market that brings together producer and critical consumers who choose Km0 food, on Saturdays we participate to various organic market in Rome. Monthly we organize events to promote our activity and an other way to re-think the link with nature, production and food. Every week we manage cooking class events in a partner hostel, so we can meet there an amazing international community of travellers and globetrotter.

    What else ...

In your free time you can relax at the field or in the common spaces of the partner hostel where wi-fi is provided (the hostel is located at 5km from the field), visit the beautiful old town (3km from the field) or take a train to visit Rome downtown (the local railway station is located at 4km from the field). We provide you a bicycle and often, everytime it will be possible, we will provide you a lift to move quickly between the various locations. We are in the beautiful sorroundings of Rome, between the hills famous for wine production and good food.
