Description
Our Social Circus School is in Mardin, Turkey, near the Syria border. We offer circus and music workshops to children and youth all over the region, in schools, refugee camps and anywhere we can! We dedicate our work to bring circus and music to Syrian, Iraqi as well Turkish local children and youth o teach them a joyful tool for a better future!
In the past years, more than 600 kids benefited from our classes, and more than 1000 youngsters took part in workshops all over Mardin region! Over 10.000 children watch the circus performances during Circus Festival. We animated free circus classes 5 days a week all year long, plus some intense summer and winter workshops, helping many new young circus artists to grow!

We are looking for volunteers who are qualified to work with children in music and circus skills.
Here we offer activities and lessons including but not limited circus and music workshops, as well language classes from time to time. This is a place where everybody is like a family and learning from each other. Every year in May we have International Music Festival and In September we have International Circus Festival before and during the festivals we also host artists to perform in the festivals. The town where we are located and also surronding is safe and we have 10 international volunteers from Europa working here with us. We are responsible of big social work and we wouldn't carry on activities if its to dangerous or not safe for children and volunteers.

Accommodation
Flat in the most central part of old town of Mardin, with great view and roof to hang out. We can offer bed and food.

The charming city of Mardin is situated on a scenic hill slope overlooking the Mesopotamian plains. Everything like shops, bazaars and touristic monuments are by walking distance, free times or evenings are good time to meet the city and local people.
