    Description

I'm raising and training horses in the geographical center of British Columbia. At the moment, I own 50 quarter horses\paints about, and besides a small hobby farm, which includes cows, chicken, cats and dogs. This year we also had 8 border collie/Australian Shepard cross puppies, and lots of kittens, that will need be taken care of.
As an all-around horse trainer, I host sortings and pennings weekly. There are lots of different events all over the year, like clinics, buckle series, and the open house.
I also breed horses, so there are foals born every spring, which is the most exciting time of the year.
I’ve been hosting workawayers for over 10 years now, most of them became part of the family, and decided to come back.

Horse skills are not a must-have, as long as you are willing to learn. There are general daily ranch chores, such as feeding animals, fixing fences, cleaning horses’ pens, catching and saddling up horses, and riding for those who want. Please do not expect to spend a relaxing holiday at my place, there's time for that too of course, but there are also a lot of things that have to be done. I would like people to stay at least two months, as it takes time to train the workawayers.
