Hello,
Since 2016 I live in my tiny house I build myself with help of workaway'ers. I am an open minded guy of 55 years old, gay (and proud on it) and live in the summer in my tiny house and in the winter in Portugal.
My tiny house measures 5 by 6 meters and I have a small shed. It still has to get finished from the outside, so help is always welcome. Also there is a lot of garden work that can be picked up, like weeding and landscaping. -

I am living now in my garden house. So you will stay in the same place where we will work.

Leiden is centrally located, all major big cities are reachable in 30 minutes by train. Also the beach is close by bike or bus.
The Dutch city of Leiden Holland (Leyden in Dutch) is a picturesque community located in the tulip-growing district in the Netherlands. Home to the oldest university in the country, Leiden features many interesting tourist attractions and a variety of museums and art galleries. -

I was with Jurjen for 17 days in his beautiful centric house in Leiden. I helped him with her sustainable house and learnt a lot of interesting things about to build. I stayed with Jurjen for 3 weeks, worked on two projects; demolishing a garden shed and laying a stone path. He gave me full responsibility on the projects but was there to help when needed and happy for me to ask questions. Jurjen taught me some valuable life lessons that really influenced me in a positive way. I found his little garden project
