We are an active family living in East Cork. 3 kids, horses, dogs, cats, chickens. Lovely old Georgian property. Cosy Courtyard Cottage is a great self contained space for our work away guests . Help with the animals & garden, some painting and general projects around the property. We do host guests in the house but are all set for help with that - just need general help with our own projects - the cottage garden will need to be prepped, we paint all our outdoor gates and furniture each spring, we split all our own logs for the house and there is always something that needs a little attention on this 300 year old estate :-)

Self contained cottage in the courtyard. X2 double ensuite bedrooms upstairs, a cosy snug and separate kitchen living downstairs. Super fast fibre broadband.
Our work away guests will have their own cottage onsite with fully equipped kitchen. So we are happy to fill their cupboards so they can do their own thing or add them into our meals - whichever suits best.

This East Cork area has amazing access to the coast - good surfing, coastal walks - very scenic. Fab hiking and mountain walks only 30 mins away. Lovely countryside. We are only 45 minutes from Cork city. Limited local transport but we are happy to make sure you can access local link buses etc and get to see the area

this experience deserves much more than 5 stars, one of the greatest ever! no words for Niamh and Richard that went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and at home. their kindness and generosity is a rare find, they're simply outstanding people and flawless hosts. the whole family is incredible (dogs, cats and horses included) and they made… read more sure we'd feel part of it. we were invited for lovely meals, events, drinks, games and had loads of fun. such a joy being with them! their home is unreal, the love and care they put into it is admirable. it was a pleasure to help them painting, gardening, cleaning, fencing and doing some other projects. working was always satisfying, with clear instructions and tools provided according to each task. we really liked the variety of jobs and the flexibility to make our hours as we wished. the accommodation was absolutely amazing: an independent, cozy and beautifully decorated cottage with its own garden. we had plenty of privacy and free time. we enjoyed ourselves chilling at the house, playing with the animals or going around on the bikes we could borrow. we found the perfect balance between work, leisure and socialising. life felt light and at ease during our stay.

They are super hardworking, sociable, flexible, and incredibly helpful. They truly integrated into our family, and we were all so sad to say goodbye. We can’t recommend Amy and Max highly enough — any host would be lucky to have them!
