Hello, we are a Finnish- American family living in southern Spain. Our home language is English. We have two athletic boys, ages 11&13. Our daughter is in college and will come home to spend part of the summer. We also have two old and calm dogs. We live in a beautiful beach town called Rota.

We can help you learn English or Spanish. We like to venture out to different Spanish towns during the weekends and you are invited to come along. We love going to the beach and exploring our surroundings.

Help
We work during the day and we would like you to keep company to the boys for 5 hours a day, 5 days a week when boys are off school. When they are in school we’d like you to help them with homework after school. Also please help out with light household chores, help to take care of the dogs, and making breakfast/lunch with the boys when out of school. Weekends and evenings you’ll have free time to explore the beautiful beach town of Rota.

Accommodation
You’ll get your own bedroom and shared bathroom, however mostly no one uses the bathroom on that floor. You can eat with us. We enjoy cooking and you are welcome to join us if you’d like. Few of the family members have celiac disease so we cook gluten free food.
What else ...
One can take the bus, boat or train to beautiful cities as Seville, Cadiz, Córdoba , Madrid etc.. Rota is a small beach town.
