Description
Dear workawayers! Please before applying check our availability - thank you!
We are searching for Yoga Teachers, who would like to give 1-2 classes per day… it’s a plus to be able to give healing sessions or spiritual workshops like energy work, group sessions. We usually have two teachers or a volunteer assisting in order to give a retreat feeling.
We are brand new and the very first retreat center with Yoga, Meditation, Healing Sessions, Trekking and Hiking in the desert of Wadi Rum in Jordan!
You have the possibility to join our tours for free and get in touch with local Bedouins! We have traditional Bedouin tents with shared bathrooms.
According your skills you can help us to organise receptions and so on and learn how to organise a Retreat & desert camp!Types of help and learning opportunities

We are looking for different skills and talents:
• Yoga teacher ( Hatha | vinyassa | Yin & Restorative)
• Reiki or energy workers
• spiritual Healers
We work with Bedouins from Wadi Rum and they actually do everything: guiding the tours trough the desert, welcome the guests, bring the laundry to dry cleaning and I would love to have some Yoga Teachers who just finished their training and would love train their teaching skills. We want to involve them in the Retreat Center to integrate them.
We are a very small team and have a chef and housekeeping - also there will be a Yoga Teacher to lead the center and the Owner, who is a bedouin and working with his family in the tourism field for a long time. We will take absolutely care of our workawayers cause we love what we do and want to have a happy energy in our camp. The volunteers can join every activity with our guests (only for camel ride they might pay a little extra as we give that money directly to the families in the village) so we have a lot to do for nature and animal lovers, people who love to organise (like rezeption) - they can help us to create a nice Retreat and activity program. We will all stay in the camp in traditional tents with shared bathrooms but there will be time for privacy as well. We have many friends with camps (so if there should be a problem we can always help them to find another camp - also de luxe alternatives are possible), the city Aqaba is not far so they can enjoy their free days. Petra is reachable by bus from Wadi Rum.
Me - I'm a german/italian journalist who works in the german TV for more than 20 years and I came to Jordan for the first time in 2017 and fall in Love at first sight with the country. As I'm a traveller myself and as well a spiritual teacher I decided to find a way to work in Jordan and we opened the first Retreat Center in Jordan which is offering this ;-) So I hope you have enough Info now - if ot let's do a video call. The Idea of workaway is great as it's not only for young people but for everyone who loves to travel and I think it's the best way to really get to know a place from the inside.Help
