  Description

  I am a non-smoker and have been continuing my writing activities as a full-time writer since retiring. During the day, I spend my time at a country house I prepared solely for writing. In addition to writing, I enjoy activities that involve tending to and creating things with my hands, such as video production, gardening, and home repairs. Here at the country house, 'a former stray cat who follows me affectionately like a puppy, has become a reliable companion. In the evening, I return to my city home to wrap up the day with a meal with my wife and son. I generally have a wide range of interests and am quite skilled with my hands; especially since retiring, I have always taken charge of cooking for my family.

  낮에는 오롯이 글을 쓰기 위해 마련한 시골집에서 시간을 보냅니다. 집필뿐만 아니라 영상 제작, 텃밭 가꾸기, 집수리처럼 손으로 무언가를 가꾸고 만드는 일을 즐깁니다. 이곳 시골집에는 저를 강아지처럼 살갑게 따르는 길고양이 출신 ‘순돌이’가 든든한 동반자가 되어주고 있습니다.
  
  저녁이 되면 도시 집으로 돌아와 아내, 아들과 함께 식사하며 하루를 마무리합니다. 평소 다방면에 관심과 손재주가 많은 편인데, 특히 정년퇴직 후에는 가족을 위한 요리를 늘 제가 도맡아 하고 있습니다.

  A. Neighborhood Characteristics: This is a tranquil and peaceful rural village near Pohang, Gyeongbuk. It is a historic clan village (Park and Choi families) formed during the Imjin War, preserving the authentic atmosphere of a traditional Korean countryside.

Public Transportation and Accessibility: 1) Village bus runs daily (timetable required) / Approximately a 30-minute walk to the nearest city bus stop 2) Check-in/Check-out Pick-up: Free pickup provided from Pohang Station (KTX) and the Intercity/Express Bus Terminal 3) Bicycles are not provided separately.

  순돌이는 아름다운 고등어 태비 무늬를 지닌 코리안 숏헤어(한국 토종 고양이)입니다. 길에서 구조해 가족이 된 친구로, 성격이 매우 온순하고 살가우며 사람을 좋아합니다. 마당과 집 안에서 저를 강아지처럼 졸졸 따라다니며, 손님을 반갑게 맞아주는 사랑스러운 고양이입니다.
