Hi, I'm Mark. I live in a large property in Snowdonia undergoing some renovation works. There's also a large garden with stunning views over the Llyn peninsula and Cardigan Bay. I moved here 3 years ago, am learning Welsh and live on my own, having progressed on site from the caravan, to the studio flat on the end and now to the middle cottage. I still need to renovate the upper cottage and various outbuildings. It's in a beautiful location and there are lovely neighbours around me. I feel very fortunate. I'm into the local landscape, archaeology, history and geology and dowsing and have a spiritual outlook on life. I'd welcome opportunities to share experiences with like-minded workawayers and show them around the more unusual and remarkable features in the north welsh landscape.
I've asked the local farmer for a couple of extra pieces of land around the back of my property that would help me to access parts of the garden more easily. If this comes off this year then I'll need some help with fencing, hedge cutting and preparing the new areas (vegetable patches, composting stations, hedge planting). This would involve soil preparation and some land drainage work. Currently, I also need help tidying the garden, sorting and sawing / lopping / pruning branches for firewood and kindling.
