Description
Hello there!
We are a friendly family living near Oradea.
After having converted a 16 seated bus into a wheelchair accessible motorhome with the help of workawayers, a year ago we started building our tiny family house.
The modules of the house were prefabricated in a small workshop and it was assembled on the spot, on a pylon foundation.
We would like it to be a passive house (energy efficient) so we are using modern technologies and best quality materials. We also follow the guidelines of a professional building company.
Akos had a rock climbing accident 12 years ago and now he is in a wheelchair. He is very handy with everything, but most things he just can`t do himself, so help is more than welcome.
Andrea is on maternity leave, taking care of our 2 kids, handling the cooking and groceries.
We mainly got the skills, but we really need help with hands on work.
The house we are building is located 8km from Oradea, near the forest, in the middle of nature.
We can offer accommodation in the house (which is not fully furnished yet), or if you come by own van, motorhomes can park here without a problem.
We also offer healthy home made food.
We work in the afternoons, between 12.00-18.00.
You can enjoy free time in the evenings and mornings, we can go sightseeing or small trips in the weekends, cook together, make BBQ etc.
We have finished 90% of the work. Next things would be:
-shading for the terrace
-garrage (walls)
-furnishing (assembling Ikea furniture etc)
-arranging the garden, planting trees etc
-building the fence
-other small tasks
-help with children and house chores is also included in the daily tasks
If you are interested, don`t hesitate to write, we will answer asap.
