Description
Bom dia, alegria! I bought this 7 hektar property in 2021 and had no idea about farming and planting trees. I was mostly interested in surfing the Alentejo coast which is 20min away (near Santiago Do Cacém). Realising the huge potential I started to develop an interest in reforestation which to this day is part of my daily life. I like to do the hard physical work just as much as enjoying the space and relax.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I can say that over the years I have started to understand a thing or two about gardening . If you are interested, Im happy to share my knowledge about Martial Arts and the Tao or we can go surfing together. I enjoy good, healthy food. There are always little social events happening in my group of local friends where we organize dance events, movie nights, sauna sessions, hikes or we just hang out.

Help
I enjoy to work with a senisible and mindful approach. This includes researching and planing before action. The type of help I need is mostly outdoors. Planting new trees, transplanting young trees, pruning (depending on the season), harvest and processing. Taking care of the cats (they only live outside) and working with wood from time to time can be another task.

If you can teach me a bit of Portuguese it would be great, but thats really not a must.
Accommodation
There are two options of accomodation depending on availability. I have a guest room inside my house with a big bed, a private little terrace with an (hot) outdoor shower.
The other option is a Mongolian yurt which was recently built. Its 36m2 and has a round shape. All in natural materials and equipped with heating and electricity.
What else ...
Since this place is rural, it would be good if you had your own car, but its not an absolute must. About the house: I appreciate a clean house and taking initiatives when it comes to daily tasks. Needless to say, I do the same.
