Description
The project is an initiative of a non profit organization for the social development of emotional inteligence, so there might be other activities happening in the farm like emotional education, art therapy or other kind of workshops, small concerts, pizza nights or other small events we can think of.
The farm was started in April 2021 with the goal of creating a permaculture teaching farm that could welcome schools, families and the public in general to be introduced to this type of regenerative agriculture or participate in any of the related workshops we'll provide, but also with the intent to produce organic helathy food to be cooked directly on the spot, for the team, guests and volunteers of an adventure sports retreat to be open by 2024.
All plots, gardens and orchards are beeing implemented from scratch since April 2021. The idea is to plant as much variety of fruits and veggies we can, so it will be a great oportunity to learn permaculture with a hands on aproach.
The farm is located in the beatifull area of Sesimbra, 1,5km from the beach and 2km from Lagoa de Albufeira lagoon. It's a quiet rural area wich gets busy in the summer and where you can do many diferent sports activities, like rockclimbing, surf, kitesurf, paddle, scuba and paragliding.Types of help and learning opportunities

The farm is already producing lots of what we eat and I get supplies we don't like rice, pasta or milk. All the extra food expenses are assured the volunteers. What else ...
On their time off volunteers have the possibility of exploring the area and avaliable activities further. You can just beach around, visit the historical center in sesimbra or go for some of the adventure sports that can be done around, like rockclimbing, cliff diving, paragliding, kitesurf, or just have some fun on kayak, paddle or scuba diving trips.
