Description

I live with my husband, Glenn and our sweet dog Willy in South Minneapolis in a four bedroom home. Glenn is a first grade teacher in Minneapolis Public schools and I provide organization development consulting to nonprofits and other organizations and small businesses. We love the outdoors and hike as much as we can. Minneapolis is an awesome place to visit because of all the art, nature, and theater opportunities. There are many lakes and bicycle paths as well as off the beaten path, unusual places to check out.

Help
We are looking for a couple or two to three friends or siblings to stay in our home while we are away for 5 weeks this summer to complete household jobs like painting, caulking windows, and other small fix it tasks around the house that have been neglected by two busy people! We will be home to show you the tasks to be done.
We will discuss the tasks to be done. You can complete them on your own schedule, but we assume it would take you about 3 hours a day, five days a week.

Accommodation
You will stay in our attic room if a couple that has its own bathroom or other rooms on second floor as needed. Lots of space in our 4-bedroom house to stretch out if you do yoga or meditation. You will have access to an office space if you need to work on any sort of art or writing project. We have a piano you can use. If you love ping-pong, we often have get together in our garage for tournaments or less competitive games. Large backyard and deck to enjoy. You can use our bicycles and kayaks too.

What else ...
Many festivals occur in the summer as well as outdoor free activities. George Floyd Square is a mile away and you can learn about this tragedy from local people. You will have full access to our kitchen where you can cook meals. We will leave you with a stocked pantry and fridge. Then you will pay for food going forward, except if we come back for a short time we will pay for restocking. There’s a natural food store a half mile away.
