    Description

I live in Kelowna, British Columbia, the French Riviera of Western Canada, it's magnificient natural surrounding of lakes, beaches, mountain and desert offer a choice of many activities and adventures for one to enjoy. Summer, spring and fall are a great time to enjoy being on the water , hiking one of numerous trails, golfing or enjoying weekly outdoor events. while winters offer an array of activities from skiing to snowshoeing, snowboarding, skating and more winter festivals and great places to eat.

My pets are Stephanie, Nikki and Junior. Stephanie is 11, she's a very sweet husky shapherd and loves people and will let you pet her as much as you like. Nikki is 6, he's small teriier mix and is shy and timid and will quietly snuggle up to you, once he gets to know you a little. Junior is 2 and he's the life of the party! He barks when the postman comes to the door, he loves to run around the back yard, go on long walks and his favorite is playing catch with his ball. They all love social interaction in their own specails ways and they love going for walks and spending time in nature.

Kelowna is hosting a variety of summer events in 2025, including Pride Month celebrations, Canada Day festivities, Parks Alive!, and the Rock the Lake music festival. The Rock the Lake festival, taking place from July 11-13, will feature bands like Simple Plan, Sam Roberts Band, and The Sheepdogs, according to Prospera Place. Additionally, Prospera Place has a number of other shows and events scheduled, including a concert by Brad Paisley in November.

    Help

The help I would like includes letting the dogs go into the back yard for a pee first thing in the morning, followed by breakfast, which includes kibble and/or rice and then a walk. They can take turns on who goes for a walk each day. Stephanie and Junior love longer walks, while Nikki is happy to go for a shorter 10 minute walk and come home to nap.
Some clean up after walks and breakfast such as sweeping the floos and cleaning and putting away the dog bowls is routine. The dogs usually stay and play in the yard so spending some time with them in the backyard is also nice in the afternnon to play fetch and also to build up trust with Junior who can also take a little longer toget to know someone.
Dinner takes place between 5 and 6 pm, usually kibble and rice is for dinner and protein a few night a week for dinner.
After dinner the dogs can be organized into their spaces for bedtime and also a few times a week can be given a treat before bed.

    What else ...

There is a central bus exchage 6 blocks away taking you to any part of the city you want to go. The beaches are a 10 minute drive from the house or you can pick up a lime bike/scooter to tour the area. We have the rail trail you can cycle on and go all the way from the US border to Vernon that runs through the city's core and along the water and some beautiful beaches.
I don't drink and we prefer if guests don't drink in the house. There are more cideries and wineries per capita in this city than anywhere in Canada, but please no drinking/smoking in the house.
We ask that everyone respect the house rules, we like people who stay busy with outside activities or in the house but encourage everyone to get outside and enjoy what Kelowna has to offer (just make sure you are home enough for your dog care responsibilities!) Cleanliness in your room and the rest of the house is expected and quiet times are between 6am and 10 pm.
