    Description

I am Eli, working and living in Basel at Roche, in cancer research. I am 30 years old, originally from Greece and I love travelling with friends and Oliver (my dog), but sometimes it can be tiring and stressful for him. I love my routine and I also love trying new things in sports and arts when I have some free time.

I would love to welcome you to my lovely home in the heart of Basel! Located right in the city center, everything you need is just steps away. You’ll find plenty of shops, cafés, bars, restaurants, and everyday conveniences right next to the apartment, making city life incredibly easy and enjoyable.

For culture lovers, the famous Theater Basel is just across the street, offering performances throughout the year. Basel’s many museums, galleries, and cultural highlights are all within walking distance, so you can truly enjoy everything the city has to offer without needing a car.

And of course, there’s Oliver , my adorable, cute, and easy-going toy poodle puppy, who brings warmth and joy to the home. He’s friendly, relaxed, and always happy to make new friends!

    Help

From time to time, when I need to travel for a few days and can’t bring Oliver with me, I truly appreciate the help of a kind, pet-loving friend to look after him.

Oliver is adorable, easy-going and with a lot of energy some days. He genuinely enjoys staying at home and is perfectly happy relaxing in his familiar environment, which makes caring for him quite easy. If you’d like to spend the day exploring Basel or even go on a full-day trip, that’s absolutely fine — Oliver is comfortable staying home and only really needs a walk in the morning and another in the evening.

He is happy with 2–3 short walks a day for potty breaks, and if you’re in the mood, he would also love joining you for walks around the city or little adventures. He’s very adaptable and enjoys simply being around people.

Oliver eats only kibble, twice a day, and is wonderfully low-maintenance. He also plays very happily on his own, so he’s great at entertaining himself and doesn’t need constant attention. Above all, he’s a sweet companion who brings a lot of warmth and joy to the home.

I’m happy to offer you a cozy and welcoming stay in my home. You’ll have access to a tiny, charming balcony where you can relax in the evenings or even sleep if you enjoy fresh air and a peaceful vibe. The building also has a rooftop terrace, where you can bring your food and drinks and enjoy them outside when the weather is nice.
Inside, there’s a large TV available for you to enjoy a movie night if you feel like staying in and relaxing. I’ll provide clean towels and fresh bed sheets, and you’ll always have hot water whenever you need it.
I provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home where you can easily follow your own routine and take care of your own food preferences and meals. Of course, if there happens to be something in the fridge that you like, feel free to enjoy it — make yourself at home!
