    Description

Hoi, Salut, Ciao, Allegra & Hello :)

We organise buzzing language & sports camps for kids aged 10 to 17 in Switzerland - and we’re every bit as colourful, dynamic and lively as the languages we help our students to learn. Learning languages can be, and should be, fun!

The receipt for our holiday camp is simple: Energetic language courses in the morning but nothing compared to school, plenty of sports and creativity added in the afternoons and evenings, garnished with a contagious international and open-minded vibe of a young multi-lingual and professional team of fellow world explorers. We also organize a Ski+Snowboard Camp.

For our SUMMER CAMP (29th June to 16th August), we are looking for:

🫡 ‼️CAMP LEADERS ‼️ Native French, English or German speaker and experienced leading groups of more than 30 kids in holiday camps, great with people and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment? Let us know why you'd be a great leader here! ✅

🤩‼️ACTIVITY LEADERS ‼️ Can you light up a room with just one joke? Can you whip up a fun activity on the fly, like a magician pulling games out of a hat? Are you cool, calm and collected when it comes to herding a busload of 10–17 year olds from A to B (and maybe even C) ? Can you turn a regular ol’ camp week into an unforgettable, life-changing adventure they’ll talk about for years? Tell us how you'll bring the spark, and why you're the activity leader we've been searching for! ✅

🇫🇷 🇩🇪 🇬🇧‼️LANGUAGE TEACHERS‼️ Are you a passionate linguist? Did you grow up in a French/German/ English speaking household and love sharing the fun, funky and weird parts of your language? Do you have experience teaching kids in or outside of a formal school environment? Let us know why you'd be great at this job!✅

🧼🧹‼️ HOUSEKEEPERS ‼️ Does a sparkling kitchen counter make your heart sing? Are you a neat freak with a knack for spotting the tiniest details and jumping into action before anyone even asks? Do you have experience working in a housekeeping team ? Let us know why you'd be a great addition to the Team✅

🎥📸‼️CONTENT CREATORS‼️Experienced content creators able to capture the magic of a dynamic space with your own camera gear (including a drone!) - does this sound like you? Help us collect photos and videos that translate our amazing camp environment to social media and website friendly content. Reach out with a link to examples of your work and let us know why you'd be a good fit for the team and our project! ✅

🙏🏼 PLEASE be so kind and only get in touch if your profile matches our requirements. Merci and no hard feelings. 🙏🏼

For our sessions during almost all Swiss school holidays we are looking for: Cool, funny, easy going, creative, sporty, constructive, forward thinking, motivated, driven and energetic minds! being experienced in working with kids is a must, understanding how a team of different backgrounds and capacities works, too. If this is you - this will not just be a job, it will be an unforgettable, adventurous and action-packed time together :)

Real talk: It's a holiday camp and not a 9 to 5 office job. It will be an unforgettably beautiful and fun time but intense too. We are surrounded by kids almost constantly. We are strongly advising not to join primarily for the money or if you are looking for a "chilled job". We need to live the energy, have a positive and flexible attitude and always take unexpected events with a smile :)

Within our team we always have French, English and (Swiss) German mother tongue speakers around since we teach those 3 languages to the kids. Usually Spanish/ Portuguese/ Italian too. English is our main language of communication. Personally my mother tongue is German but having lived in Argentina, Ireland, Brasil and the French speaking part of Switzerland apart from others I speak all those beautiful languages too and I am very keen to share and add to your, my and our knowledge.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Our camp takes place in St.Cergue in the French speaking part of Switzerland between Geneva and Lausanne. We offer dormitories with 4 to 9 single beds per room and usually manage to separate female and male rooms. If you prefer a single room, throw a mattress in a storage room or bring your own camper van or tent. Accommodation is rather basic than 5 star but if you ever stayed in a dormitory of a budget hostel in Panama or Morocco you will love it, no worries :) We have our own kitchen team and always offer vegan and vegetarian options on top. Accommodation, meals and excursions are included.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Every week we take all kids on 3 different excursions which is a great opportunity to join and explore what Lake Geneva region and Western Switzerland has to offer: Lake Geneva, the cities of Nyon, sometimes Lausanne & Geneva, different hikes around the region with beautiful view points, different museums etc... On your time off you are completely free to organise yourself. We cannot offer you a car but getting around by train and bus is amazingly convenient (but can be quite costy booking last-minute). Because of its many remote areas, hitchhiking is still fairly common in Switzerland.
