    Description

Come join us to get to know the Israeli desert!
The wonderful views and unique nature, the hidden pools and springs, the special people and the hidden treasures of this land!

We are Avishai & Ilana, a couple from Israel. In April 2018 we opened a guesthouse in the desert town of Yeruham. A quiet little town surrounded by amazing nature and views, a natural crater and a beautiful lake (not for swimming).

Yeruham is not your typical tourism town, but with some help you can get to know its interesting and unique culture, and a very special story to it and is surrounded by fascinating desert.

We love hosting, meeting people from around the world, getting to know their story and sharing ours. We are interested in hosting 2-4 volunteers, getting to know them and helping us out with taking care of the guesthouse.
We will try to find work that will suite your personality best, and help us build the house of our (and your!) dreams.
Volunteers are welcome for at least 2 weeks.

Yeruham is small town in the middle of the Israeli Negev Desert.

it has a warm and welcoming community, and traditional Moroccan-Jewish culture and food. You will get to know the Israel back-country, and certainly something very different from anywhere else you've visited.

surrounding us are endless hiking trails, three natural craters, farms, kibutzim, views and more.

We are an hour drive away from The Dead Sea and Massada, an hour and a half from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
During your free time you can go hiking, biking or just hang around by the nearby lake, visit the surrounding towns and farms and go out for beer at one of the student bars in Be'er Sheva.

We will do our best to connect you to interesting social or cultural projects in Yeruham, hoping to make your time with us unique and unforgettable.
