    Description

James and Alex live in a house in Church Point, surrounded by trees in Northern Sydney. We would like to host people from overseas who could help us with carpentry, gardening and painting some parts of our house.

We enjoy cooking and getting to know people from other countries and cultures. We speak English and a little French. Our house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

We have a spare bedroom with its own bathroom - though the sink is cracked - a new one is coming soon.

A couple may work best so that our guests have company if we’re out, although I’m generally around because I work from home. I’m a landscape designer and my husband James is a window cleaner. We have wifi and local places nearby for shopping etc.. if you like bushwalking there are many walks in the Kuring-gai National Park which is nearby.
There are easy links to the city on the B1 bus. and a local bus that comes directly to our house.

The travellers will learn the Australian way of life and our customs. We have a generally harmonious household and are very close to nature in our house in the trees, so if the traveller enjoyed watching the birds or meditation and yoga, they will fit in very well. The gardening is quite hard work but rewarding.

    Help

Carpentry, gardening and painting are the main requests and some help with the computer ( Mac) in organising my photos would be most helpful. We love to practice French so if you know some of that, we always enjoy learning new conversational skills.
