Description
Hi everyone,
Here Thom and Amandine from le Lot (46, South of France, 2 hours north from Toulouse, lost in the French country side).
We are 32 (Thom) and 27 (Amandine) and we have a tones of projects and energy to share with the world.
Amandine is a social worker but is working with me (Thom) now in a small "guinguette" that we are going to open this summer. And I am a former musician / event organizer and now trying to manage a nice small restaurant/bar/music place (and more) by the river.
We are about to start living in our own house and want to start other projects as : garden, wood building, rocks and durt building, having animals (chickens, sheeps, goats etc.)
We are looking for one or two person max (partners or very good friends), to help us with the new projects and share a bit our life and yours. We know everyone in the area, we spend a lot of time with friends or in our bar staying late talking about how we want to change this f**ked up world hehe. We also have (most of the time) a second car if you need and soon a scooter !
We like to live with the flow even if the work take us lot of time especially during summer.
Where are you gonna stay ?
- there is a small wood house very cosy, just beside our home and close to the garden, it's big enough to have your own place with bedroom, office, sofa etc. We just need to fix a new bathroom !
What are you going to do ?
-there is plenty of things to do, so we can check this out when we talk online, it will not be in our business cause we like to have this things separe but in the différents options like :
- gardening (growing vegetables and fruits etc )
- build the garden (fences, cabin, organizing the different areas etc.)
- construction work (we are renovating our home and an other very small place) with some friends, if you want to learn about construction you can join sometimes our construction team !
- taking care of the animals (chickens, sheep and goats). Also maybe build a new place for them
- we have other projects that need to be created or empowered. Things we can give time and money o build it together (wood taller, old cars renovation, clothes creation … everything is possible in the end so I guess this is our way to invite you to share your own projects and maybe launch some stuff together, who knows).
So yes, we also have a lot of project that you can join later if you wanna extend your trip or work with us !
How long and in what terms ?
- we can start with a month if we get along but feel really really free to say what you wanna do (we don't want short stays cause we also want to learn from you and share a moment, and this takes time.
So basically, minimum 2 weeks and we will see !
- for the work, 2 days a week (15 hours) or more with food, we can deal it online regarding your time and needs etc.
About being yourself and feeling comfortable:
- we will always be careful and we really appreciate someone honest, always feel free to tell us if you don't feel great, if you need anything at all, or if you need to have a good beer with a long talk or just to join the Netflix/fire place night !
+ 2 days of work (15h) when you want except for organized team projects
+ car available
+ we will try to set up a wifi connexion
Amandine speaks French and has a good English lvl and Thom speaks French, English and Español.

Mostly interested to learn porteguese or arabic. I can't teach properly the languages i know cause i learned by myself, but we can talk all the time to improve our languages and words etc.

you'll have plenty of time here to work on your own projects and i'll always happy to share about it ! But, we do not have wifi connexion here for now ... you can come to our restaurant to get the WIFI or buy a sim card to share internet (that what we do).

There is space to park the van very very close to the cabin, welcome !
Can possibly accept pets
You can come with animals of course but our plan is to have chickens and animals so, it has to be cool with it.
