    HOUSE-SITTING DEC 01 TO DEC 14-

    Hello!
I’m an artist - (dance/theatre), massage therapist and tour guide and a gay man with a project in my hands- I have 2 beautiful friendly cats.
I’ve renovated a small olive finca in the mountains of Catalunya/ delta del Ebro/ Tortosa area and help is always welcomed mainly with DIY projects and garden. I initially did not intend to live here permanently but in March 2020 I came for a short holiday and lockdown happened.......I have been here since. The house is already renovated and it is very comfortable and cosy and has all amenities needed. I am 30 minutes walking from Tortosa train station, 30 mins from supermarkets and bus station and 40 mins to the center of town. I’m chilled out, open minded and believe communication has the power to create miracles. I like meditating, walking, beach, Massage, cooking, wine, no drugs or smoking. I enjoy naturist lifestyle weather permitting. I like essential oils but perfume is not my thing especially around the house. I’m interested in hosting male helpers who are independent and conscientious about minimising their footprint, this is an off-grid house meaning electricity comes from the sun and water from the rain, they are both valuable resources and must be enjoyed attentively; electric gadgets should be charged during the day and showers must be short, hairdryers are a no go!!. Altered states under the influence of drugs, alcohol are not interesting to me and not welcomed in my home. Keep alcohol consumption up to a reasonable enjoyment level and not beyond. You must be a contribution to the space whatever that means to you. I’m not interested in free loaders and people that are using this opportunity as a “way out” of anything or for free accommodation. I am also not interested in "workers" whom I pay with food and accommodation; I am interested in people, interactions, sharing meals and chores around the house. We should come up with an agreement that works for both in terms of what you offer and what I offer but as a guideline, 4 hours of your "work" per day would get you a comfy room with bathroom and breakfast and a main meal. I would like you to use this space as a way into something greater for yourself, the space and the land or you will be asked to leave. I think this is a fair deal ;)

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Although I will have have specific projects for you to help with, the idea is to learn together as we discover the tasks required that arise as we go along- living off grid requires to be spontaneous and tuned into each day as it shows up. The projects on the land are continuous. I’m on the mountains with lots of hiking trails, rivers, the sea of course and lots more to discover. Catalunya is gorgeous!
