    Description

We are looking for someone who can start working with us as soon as possible. We would like you to stay for at least six months.
Here in Hakone, the greenery will soon become lush, making it a wonderful season. We look forward to your application!

Hello Workawayers! We receive many requests and messages daily, so if you would like to send us a message, please first thoroughly read our profile and confirm whether or not you can meet these requirements.

We are urgently recruiting staff for our guest house who are able to work and stay for longer periods of time, for example, a year or longer. We do offer the possibility for your stay to be extended based on your capability, and we would be willing to assist select individuals who prove to be an exceptional fit for our inn in obtaining a working visa. However, for guest house work, we are unable to offer employment to those who are staying for a period of 6 months or less.
*Unfortunately, we are also unable to offer employment to couples or duos due to accommodation capacity.

For our guest house, we are looking for those who:
★ have previous experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment
★ excel at customer service and have a bright and positive attitude when communicating with guests
★ will be able to work at least 5-6 days a week, for 4-8 hours a day
★ have Japanese and English skills
★valid driver's license and the ability to drive in Japan are required (as you may be asked to assist with guest transportation).

Those who have a working-related visa which allows them to be paid (working or working holiday visa) will be paid ¥1150 per hour. All other visa-holders are free to message us to discuss compensation.

We are a guest house in Hakone. As a traditional ryokan, our unique offerings include our handmade Japanese-style zen garden (the owner is a Japanese garden architect!) and hot springs (onsen).

The rooms are furnished with tatami mats, incorporating the true style of Japan culture and hospitality for our guests to enjoy.

We’re looking for someone who’s keen on learning more about Japanese hospitality and meeting people from all walks of life. Conversational English proficiency is a must.

If you’re looking to soak in an onsen everyday and be part of our small guest house's family (we’re always open to your suggestions on how to improve our guest house), do apply!
