    Description

    ¡Hola Workawayers!

We're an international family of four currently living in Poland and Spain or moving around on our 4 wheels.

This summer we will be staying in our cave home in Alcala del Jucar (La Mancha) for two months (July and August). Alcala is a beautiful village build on rocks and about half of the accommodations are caves. It has lots of life and activities (kayaking etc.) in summer.

To make our cave a home (for us and others) we'll be happy to receive your help. While we'll be doing works on the cave (nothing constantly too loud), we are also working remotely which brings us in the need of some part-time childcare for our sons (3 and 5 years old). They are two very easy-going guys who will enjoy showing you around Alcala or spending some time at the beach or in the public pool with you.

We can offer a room in the cave, meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) which can be traditionally Spanish (prepared by Nacho) or vegetarian/vegan. A car to use for shopping and visiting the area.

We're still kind of at the very beginning of this project but the cave has a functioning shower (with hot water) and toilet, kitchen and chimney (if you would like to stay longer than us and continue doing some works in it you won't get cold in the chillier months of the year).

We have no experience with Workaway yet, but are both couchsurfers and globetrotters, speaking various languages, and looking forward to connect, exchange and learn.

Please tell us bit about yourself and let us know your availability. We would like to "meet" you via video call upfront to see if our ideas of spending the summer together match. We're looking for some extra hands in the months of July and August 2023.

We're 38 and 45 years old, working remotely as a translator and as an engineer in renewable energies, focused on raising our little ones and creating a better world for them.

Looking forward to hear from you soon!

    Magda and Nacho

We're happy to speak and teach you Spanish, English, French, German or Polish. Our kids are raised in Spanish and Polish but they're curious to learn new languages too. Nacho grew up in the area and can provide lots of information about Spain, La Mancha, and Comunidad Valenciana.
We've lived in different places all over the world and will be happy to share experience and contact. We love to cook, especially for guests and spend time with fellow travellers.
We're currently immersing ourselves in the world of alternative ideas of education for our children, so very happy to exchange information and ideas here.
