    Description

    ¡Hola Workawayers!

We’re an international family who moved to Galicia, Spain, last year and are currently creating our new home in a small settlement called Agruñá (near Friol). We’re in the process of refurbishing a house and bringing the surrounding garden and land back to life.

As we build this space—for ourselves and for others—we’d love to welcome your help. There are always things to do inside the house, as well as plenty of outdoor projects in the garden and on the land. And of course, there’s fun to be had with our two boys (ages 5 and 8), who love playing outside and exploring the area on their bikes.

In exchange, we offer a private room and three meals a day. Meals can be traditional Spanish (prepared by Nacho) or vegetarian/vegan. We also provide access to a car for shopping or discovering the beautiful surroundings.

We’re still at an early stage of this project, but the essentials are in place: a functioning bathroom with hot water, a toilet, a kitchen, and heating.

Although we’re new to Workaway (we’ve hosted once before in our cave house in southern Spain, though not through this platform), we’re experienced couchsurfers and passionate travellers. We speak several languages and truly enjoy connecting with people, exchanging ideas, and learning from different perspectives.

If you’re interested, please tell us a bit about yourself and your availability. We’d love to arrange a video call to get to know each other and see if our ideas for co-living align.

We’re 41 and 48, working remotely as a translator and an engineer in renewable energy. Our main focus right now is raising our children and creating a meaningful, sustainable life for our family.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Magda and Nacho
