Where to begin? We spent just 10 days with Nell, Theo, and their big, wonderful family, but from the very start, we felt completely at home. We're already sure we’ll return to meet them all again. Since Nell and Theo’s house is still under construction, we stayed at Theo’s parents’ home, where Annie and Pete warmly welcomed us, treated us with
… read more respect, and included us in all their plans—something we deeply appreciate. We also had the pleasure of meeting a group of interesting and lovely people during our stay (other volunteers, guests, friends…).
The work was diverse, ranging from construction tasks at Nell and Theo’s place to chopping wood, cutting grass, and more at the parent’s house. They were always considerate, checking in to make sure we were comfortable with the tasks we were doing. As for the people, don’t miss the chance to meet them! Nell, Theo, their family, the volunteers—every single one of them was incredibly kind, humorous, welcoming, and open-minded (and incredible musicians by the way).
On top of that, Nell and Theo took us to Theo’s gigs in Galway, where we even got to learn some traditional dances. If you love music, dancing, and having a really great time, this is absolutely the place for you.
And this short review doesn’t even come close to expressing how deeply grateful we are to have ended up in such a wonderful place in the world, surrounded by such incredible people.

Nell and theo are absolutely great. It's a duo made of a very loud, humoristic (and quite talented) musician. And one of the sweetest lady you'll ever meet (her food is awesome). They didn't have place yet, decent for hosting, at their house. So we all stayed at theo's parents place.
Which is, if you want to be culture immersed, most likely the

They will have you working hard...but also offer comfortable working atmosphere, and the eternal tea break...eternal not by the length of it, but because of its ability to happen...and rehappen.
Theo offered us many times to take us into town when he had gigs. To enjoy the show, or walk around the city.
P.S. you could possibly leave this place with, but not restricted to, 50 more friends.Feedback
