  Hello, we are a family living in a rural area of the Basque Country, 30 minutes from San Sebastian. The village is small and surrounded by mountains. We live in a large house overlooking the forest. Here you can walk as much as you like. Tolosa, the nearest city (10 minutes away), offers all kinds of cultural services, shops, museums, etc. There are three of us in our family: Basque-Iranian (at home we speak Basque, Iranian, and Spanish, and also a little English!). Our son is 4 years old, and we would like the person who wants to live with us to speak English with him. It is important for us to share our culture and traditions with the au pair. We enjoy a quiet life, walking in the mountains, cycling, and picking and roasting chestnuts in the autumn. We have a vegetable garden at home and we like to eat healthily! Pedram is a video editor and photographer and works the afternoon shift. He has a woodworking workshop at home, and in his free time you will always see him working with wood. I, Ane, work part-time at the university as a lecturer and also own a café/shop 3 kilometers from where we live. Sina is a very cheerful and sociable boy. He's not currently in school, and Pedram and I are raising him. We had an au pair for 3 months, and it was a great experience. Sina understands English, and we'd like the au pair to play, cook, read, sing, etc., in English. We offer a spacious room, a bicycle, and a willingness to share and enjoy this stay together.   Somos una familia que vive en una zona rural del Pais Vasco, a 30 minutos de San Sebastian. El pueblo es pequeño y rodeado de montañas. Vivimos en una casa grande con vistas al bosque.
  Aquí se puede caminar todo lo que uno/a quiera. Tolosa la ciudad más cercana (10') ofrece todo tipo de servicios culturales, tiendas, museos....
  
  Somos tres en nuestra familia: vasca-iraní ( en casa se habla, vasco, iraní y español también un poquito de inglés!) Nuestro hijo tiene 4 años y nos gustaría que la persona que quiera convivir con nosotros hablase inglés con el.
  
  Para nosotros es importante que compartir con la/el au pair nuestra cultura, tradiciones....Nos gusta la vida tranquila, pasear en la montaña, montar en bicicleta, recoger castañas en otoño y asarlas. Tenemos un huerta en casa y nos gusta comer sano!
  
  Pedram es editor de video y fotógrafo y trabaja en el turno de tarde. En casa tiene un taller de carpintería y en sus ratos libres siempre lo verás trabajar la madera.
  
  Yo Ane, trabajo durante una temporada en la Universidad como profesora y también tengo una cafetería -tienda a 3 kilometros de donde vivimos.
  
  Sina es un niño muy alegre y social. De momento no va al colegio y nos ocupamos de su crianza Pedram y yo. Tuvimos a una au pair durante 3 meses y la experiencia fue muy buena. Sina entienden inglés y nos gustaría que la au pair juegue, cocine, lea, cante....con en el inglés.
  
  Ofrecemos habitación amplia, bicicleta y ganas de compartir y de disfrutar juntos está estancia.

  We are a Basque-Iranian family. Here you will experience Basque culture firsthand, its traditions, language, and you will also discover Basque and Iranian cuisine. We love sharing our large house with friends and fellow travelers. We live in a small village; we are a close-knit community, and everyone knows each other. Anyone who comes here will feel warm and welcome.
  
  Somos una familia vasco iraní. Aquí vivirá de cerca la cultura vasca, sus tradiciones, idioma.....y también conocerá la gastronomía vasca e iraní. A nosotros nos gusta mucho compartir nuestra casa grande con amigos y gente que viaja.
  
  VIvimos en un pueblo pequeño, somos una comunidad y todos nos conocemos. La persona que llegue aquí se sentirá arropada y acogida.

  We offer a large room with a bathroom. Food is very important to us; we eat healthily and enjoy cooking. Since we have our own garden and organic food shop, our refrigerator is always stocked with healthy food. Sharing meals with others is very important to us.

  Para nosotros es muy importante la alimentación, comemos sano y nos gusta cocinar. Al tener huerta y tienda de alimentación ecológica nuestra nevera está llena de comida saludable.

  What else ...

  We would like the person who comes to care for our son to refrain from using their mobile phone or any other screen device during the time they are with him. Here in our village, we have yoga classes and a tennis court for sports. In Tolosa, there is a sports center, a swimming pool, and other facilities.
  
  Nos gustaría que la persona que llegue, no utilice el móvil o cualquier aparato con pantalla en las horas que tenga que estar con nuestro hijo.
  
  Aquí en el pueblo tenemos clase de yoga y una campo de tennis para hacer deporte. En Tolosa hay un polideportivo, piscina....
