Description
Hello! I'm Camila, I live together with Salti, my dog and my family in a plot with cabins in Caleu. This is a rural and mountainous sector in the coastal range, which is located on the old road between Santiago and Valparaíso. It is a three-hectare plot with walnut cultivation that is immersed in a sector where the sclerophyllous forest grows, typical of the central zone. Here there is a main house built where I live, two cabins that are rented by the day, a cabin that is being finished and a house on wheels. I can tell you about myself that I am a singing and piano teacher, I sing, I like to paint and share other arts. I am also a bach flower therapist. I want to build a harmonious space for human encounter and consistent with the principles of care for ecosystems, so a zero waste system will be implemented in my house and for visitors to the cabins. You are welcome to share, work, play music and enjoy the silence and nature.

Hola! Soy Camila, vivo junto a Salti, mi perrita y mi familia en una parcela con cabañas en Caleu. Este es un sector rural y montañoso en la cordillera de la costa, que se ubica en el antiguo camino entre Santiago y Valparaíso. Es una parcela de tres hectáreas con cultivo de nogales que está inmersa en un sector donde crece el bosque esclerófilo, propio de la zona central. Aquí hay construidas una casa principal donde vivo, dos cabañas que se arriendan por día, una cabaña que se está terminando y una casa sobre ruedas.
De mí te puedo contar que soy profesora de canto y de piano, canto, me gusta pintar y compartir otras artes. También soy terapeuta de flores de Bach.
Deseo construir un espacio armonioso, para el encuentro humano y coherente con los principios de cuidado de los ecosistemas, por lo que se implementará un sistema de basura cero en mi casa y para los visitantes de las cabañas.

We can practice your Spanish if you are learning, it is always very pleasant to share a space for music and conversation by the fire, a workshop is soon to be implemented which will be open to sharing through drawing and painting. The place is extremely conducive to meditation and the cultivation of spirituality alongside the trees and nature. The plot located at a distance of approximately 5 km from the entrance to the nature sanctuary Cerro El Roble, which has an elevation of 2,200 meters above sea level. and it is a well-known place for trekking and climbing. A few kilometers down the hill from La Dormida is Olmué and beyond Limache, where you can take a one-hour train to Valparaíso. From time to time I go down to Limache by car so if you want you can join the trip up and down.

Podemos practicar tu español si es que estás aprendiendo, siempre es muy grato compartir un espacio de música y conversación junto al fuego, está pronta la implementación de un taller el cuál estará abierto compartir a través del dibujo y la pintura. El lugar es sumamente propicio para la meditación y el cultivo de la espiritualidad junto a los árboles y la naturaleza.
La parcela ubicada a una distancia de 5km aproximadamente de la entrada al santuario de la naturaleza Cerro El Roble, el cual tiene una elevación de 2.200 metros snm. y es un lugar conocido para hacer trekking y escalada. A unos kilómetros, bajando la cuesta de La Dormida se encuentra Olmué y más allá Limache, donde se puede tomar un tren de una hora a Valparaíso. De vez en cuando bajo a Limache en auto así que si deseas te puedes sumar en el viaje de bajada y subida.

Como es una parcela las actividades de trabajo a realizar son muy diversas. Desde riego de los nogales y otras tareas de jardinería, tareas de mantenimiento de las cabañas o la piscina, hasta limpieza de cabañas. Entre otras actividades que pueden ir surgiendo. Ahora lo principal es la instalación de cables para electricidad, agregar aislamiento y la construcción de una terraza de madera para implementar tinajas de agua caliente.

Accommodation
Currently the volunteers are staying in the camper that has Wi-Fi and in the tiny haus. The bathroom, kitchen, washing machine and recreation spaces are shared in the big house.

To get there it is necessary to take a bus to the top of the slope of La Dormida. You can do it from Santiago, from the Alameda terminal, where the travel time is approximately an hour and a half, or from Olmué, where the travel time is approximately forty minutes. When you reach the top, I look for you by car and we advance approximately 5km to the plot. Outside the plot there is no public movement, but we can coordinate if you want me to take you to the Cuesta de la Dormida or to another sector of Caleu. The Cerro El Roble reserve is a place that you cannot miss, even so, all the places around the plot are beautiful to walk.

Para llegar es necesario tomar un bus hasta la cima de la cuesta de La Dormida. Puedes hacerlo desde Santiago, desde el terminal Alameda, donde el tiempo de viaje es de una hora y media aproximadamente o desde Olmué, donde el tiempo de viaje es de cuarenta minutos aproximadamente. Cuando llegas a la cima, te busco en auto y avanzamos 5km aproximadamente hasta la parcela. Por afuera de la parcela no pasa movilización pública, pero podemos coordinar si quieres que te lleve a la cuesta de la Dormida o a otro sector de Caleu.
La reserva del Cerro El Roble es un lugar que no puedes dejar de visitar, aún así todos los lugares al rededor de la parcela son lindos para caminar.
