Hi guys My name is Jenny I live on 2.5 acres in a magical place called Fishery Falls with my Jack Russell puppy Daisy 🐶
Property is set on the edge of Tropical Rain Forest with creeks that run along the side and bottom of the property. Abundant birdlife. Peaceful, tranquil and beautiful spot.
Nearby is Behana Gorge (fantastic walk and swimming hole) Walshes Pyramid a climb which will give you a panoramic view of the area, beaches, best bakery in the small town of Babinda, Babinda Boulders, access to diving on the Great Barrier Reef, fishing spots…..and only 45 minutes from the nearest city, Cairns.

There’s a pub down the road that locals frequent and I get together with neighbours for a BBQ or meal. I have a son in Sweden and one in Doha and miss the energy of younger people.
My husband taught English to foreign students for many years and I loved meeting students from all over the world.

I’d appreciate help in the garden and general maintenance including painting around the property. Gardening including weeding, digging, planting, cutting back, propagating….
I’ll always work with you and you’ll never be asked to do anything I can’t.

Accommodation
3 bedroom house with seperate toilet and shared bathroom. Lounge, kitchen. Covered stoep around the house with outdoor furniture where you can chill and watch the birds. You’ll have your own secure clean, comfortable bedroom with double bed.
Be grateful for any help with meals.
I’ll supply ingredients for all your meals. I’ll cook for you some of the time but hope you will also cook.

Lots of places to explore around here if you enjoy being in nature. Cairns city is 45 min away. No public transport.
This isn’t a party house but I enjoy a sundowner, music or just listening to the sounds nature.
I maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and would expect no less from guests.
