Hi! 😊 My name is Carol and I live in a peaceful village in Iceland with my beautiful family. I’m originally from Kenya and have 3 amazing children—ages 7, 2, and a baby girl. We are a warm, respectful, and welcoming family, and I’m currently looking for someone who loves children and is ready to be part of our everyday life.
I run a beauty studio and work full-time outside the home, so I need someone who can stay with the children during the day, especially the toddler and baby. Tasks include preparing lunch for the family, playing with the kids, changing the little ones, and helping with light house tasks like folding laundry and tidying shared spaces.
You’ll have your own private room, all meals provided, and a loving family environment. We live surrounded by nature, with clean air and beautiful views—perfect for someone who enjoys peace and simplicity. Weekends are off, and you’ll have time to relax or explore Iceland’s beauty.

Help
You will be helping us mainly with childcare and light household tasks while I am at work during the day. I have three children—ages 7, 2, and a baby—so someone with a calm, caring attitude and good energy with kids is important.
Your daily duties include:
• Staying with the children while I’m away (mostly the toddler and baby)
• Preparing lunch for the family
• Feeding and changing the baby and toddler
• Folding and organizing laundry for the children
• Light cleaning of shared areas (like kitchen after meals and play areas)
• Playing with the kids, keeping them engaged and happy
🕐 Helping hours: Monday to Friday, usually from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
📅 Weekends: Mostly off, unless we agree otherwise
🍽️ All meals and a private room are provided
We’re looking for someone who’s reliable, kind, and not afraid to help out without being reminded. The home is peaceful, and you’ll be treated with warmth and respect—but we do need someone who is present and active with the children.
